DICKENS, Charles. Undated, London: Chapman and Hall. A set of four early edition Dickens novels. To include 'The Posthumous Papers of the Pickwick Club', 'Dealings with the Firm of Dombey and Son', 'Barnaby Rudge', and 'Little Dorrit.' Green quarter-bound Morocco with gilt ruling and raised bands to the spine with gilt, with text block edges in gilt. All four in good condition with minor bumping to front and rear boards, light wear to marbled endpapers, and occasional foxing to page margins. With the bookplate of notable businessman and liberal politician Frederick William Gibbins (1861-1937) to front pastedown of 'The Pickwick Papers' and 'Dombey and Sons.'
